Celebrate Memorial Day in Lake Oswego

“This country has not seen and probably will never know the true level of sacrifice of our veterans. As a civilian, I owe an unpayable debt to all our military. […] Let’s all take a remembrance for all veterans who served or are serving, peacetime or wartime and gone or still with us.” -Thomas M Smith

With most Americans being divided when it comes to politics these days, it can be grounding to remember certain FACTS, such as that the reason we’re able to enjoy so many of the luxuries we do is because of all those brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives in battle. Memorial Day, which falls on Monday, May 28th, this year, is a great opportunity to slow down and reflect upon all of our rights because of those who lost their lives fighting for this country. How will you celebrate this most honorable of holidays?

If going out in the hot sun doesn’t appeal to you, then consider hosting a small get-together in your air-conditioned apartments with your closest friends and family in Lake Oswego. It’s a great way to catch up without spending too much money or getting too much sun.
