Scarecrows are back this October! Lake Oswego has plenty of events lined up to make your spooky holiday “faboolous.” Plus, what better way to celebrate any holiday than by getting together with the people you care about? Here are a few family-friendly upcoming activities you can put on the calendar.

 

PUMPKIN CARVING CONTEST

If you have or know some teenagers who have some carving skills, then tell them about this upcoming contest. This event is open to teens ages 11-17. Think they have what it takes? Come to the battle of the jack-o-lanterns at the Lake Oswego Teen Lounge on Friday, October 20 from 5-7 pm. Even if they aren’t a carving expert, this event will still be a blast. Lake Oswego Teen Lounge is located at 1500 Greentree Road.

 

VISIT THE SCARECROWS

Luscher Farm in Lake Oswego is a great place to take the family when it comes to Halloween. One thing this farm is known for though is their scarecrows. That’s right. From spooky to goofy to frumpy, there are scarecrows in all shapes and sizes. That’s not all there is to do! First, take some pictures. Then, find some pumpkins.
